Andy - it looks like you need to modify the absolute position of the boxcaption element in the CSS. I added 'top:170px;' right below the position:absolute, in the .boxcaption class and it then starts my 'black box' 170px down.

My CSS is now:

.boxcaption{
 float: left;
 position: absolute;
 top:170px;
 background: #000;
 height: 100px;
 width: 100%;
 opacity: .8;
 /* For IE 5-7 */
 filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Alpha(Opacity=80);
 /* For IE 8 */
 -MS-filter: "progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Alpha(Opacity=80)";
 }

HI,

I love this - but for some reason, I cannot adjust the initial view.
When the page loads, the slider is across the whole of the image. When I rollover it, and then rollout, it goes to the correct position.

I can't work out what I need to do!

Thanks! :)

Hay, This is a very good and easy to use tutorial. Im trying to use the div class box.caption.full as in the tutorial. I have got the caption to slide up when the image is hovered over. The only problem I am having is that there is no background to it, so the writing is very hard to read. Any ideas? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
