We’re digging under the surface of the Earth for this round of color inspiration. You’ll be surprised at how many different shades “rock” comes in!
Photos are all found via Flickr (follow image links for author info). Color schemes are available to download through COLOURlovers.

I love this idea of finding color schemes in photos. That Reed Flute Cave on is spectacular. Makes me want to design something with it right away.

That is a fascinating look at colors in nature, and the pictures are beautiful ta boot. Where are these caves? I would love to visit if that’s what it looks like.

I actually AM a hardcore caver, and they are some of the most beautiful places on earth. Check out my new book about the art and photography of Carlsbad Caverns, “Visions Underground: Carlsbad Caverns through the Artist’s Eye” on Amazon.com.
