Get Wet – 28 Refreshingly Unique Water Package Designs

We all know out typical water brands of Poland Springs, Dasani, and Smart Water – but when’s the last time you appreciated the bottle design? I took some time to put together some nice water packaging from all around the internet, Lovely Package, and The Dieline. While water may be a flavorless drink, plenty of these designs do their best to bring out the sparkling goodness of H20.

Here are plenty of reasons to stay hydrated and be inspired.

While I do agree that these are very interesting designs, these containers are nothing more then a way to get consumers to pay way more then they need to for a basic necessity.
Sadly we live in a world where packaging becomes an extension of the product, and will ultimately be thrown away and discarded like the ideals on which they were based.

    @ Laszlo

I wholeheartedly agree. It’s interesting to see the design side of these containers, but there’s a certain point where you have to take a step back and NOT put your glass water bottles in a richly designed boxed set.

Ha, I had the exact same idea Ogo apparently had.
You see all those advertisements about how Nestle Pure Life or whatever has xx% less plastic because of some new form. Really, spheres are the way to go.

I’ve seen that glass-tube of Voss. It looks amazing.
I think I’d pay $3 for some of these bottles, themselves.

Babies always play with the packaging first. Some of these are really beautiful, I wish there were accompanying Photoshop or 3ds max tutorials to create them as well. Saving the planet. lol. I make websites that are 90% recycled ideas.

I like the 70 and Fred, the Voss too. Especially concerning a product like water, the packaging should convey the message of fresh, clear, revitalizing. Some of the other packages look like parfum or makeup. It’s amusing how some packages use more material to give you less product. The milk cartoon is brilliant, from a retarded standpoint.

Ya, I would definitely rather collect some of these bottles than making them a habitual purchase–and perhaps that’s what these companies fail to keep in mind with these new designs.
Will you make an impulse buy of the 99 cent bottle of water or the $3?

Cool collection. Cant say that I agree that FIJI belongs in that lineup. their bottle is by far the most boring out of the group. Otherwies it’s a nice gallery of water in a bottle. :)

ja now we paid 25 times for the real water value just because you put it on flashy bottles, and we contaminate the world with tons of empty usless bottles. when i was a kid if i got thirsty just open the water tab and was ok. no pollution at all, think about it.

With the exception perhaps of the “boxed water,” these are all products that we do not need. The sooner that people stop buying “packaged” water, the better.

Next on the list should be branding air. Clean and fresh air should have a package, too. Just imagine these bottles standing in shops 100 years ago…And now imagine boxed filled with compressed clean air on the shelf. The truth is we’re not far away from this. A company from Romania captures fresh air from the mountains and sends industrial compressed containers to Japan, where the air is used in big corporations ventilation system.

Those are some really cool water container designs. I think I like the Y water and the OGO water containers the best.

I had no idea water bottle designs were so diverse! I wonder if these manufacturers have considered their impact on the environment?

Wow, so many cool designs. But – I agree with one of your previous commentators. Too many bottles going into our landfills.

Needed to create you the very little word to finally thank you so much yet again with the amazing things you have featured here. It has been extremely open-handed with people like you to supply openly just what many people would’ve advertised as an electronic book to make some cash for themselves, specifically considering the fact that you could have tried it in case you desired. These inspiring ideas likewise served to become good way to fully grasp other people have a similar dream the same as my personal own to figure out a great deal more on the topic of this problem. Certainly there are a lot more pleasurable times ahead for folks who look over your blog.
