    Wow! Great find. Just curious, how did you find out which fonts they use?

    I’m guessing the facebook and Basecamp fonts are going to become extremely popular among designers soon.

    I particularly like Neo Sans Medium and Helvetica Rounded Bold (although I shouldn’t, it’s unnatural!).

    Some of these fonts seem to be incorrect when you inspect them closely. They may be modified, but most are also just based on the letters in the logo (as with the Engadget font) and not the actual font used to create the logo.

    It’s always fun to find and identify new fonts, though!

  27. Sam Dunn

    @Jonathan Foucher Web Design
    I tactfully placed a (Modified) disclaimer next to the Neuropol font. And actually I will disagree with you as far as it not looking anything like Bebo. Bebo used a custom version – Bebo Neuropol – to make the font, which has not been released commercially.

    If we stress that some fonts are getting attention more than others, we are going in the place of subliminal.

    Very nice post. I love the concept though. It is nice to see someone confident enough to use their own sites to help others. Thanks again for sharing……

    I love the font and icons that 37 Signals uses for Basecamp and their other projects. Very unique and easy to identify with their brand.

    Hey nice list Sam! Been using the What The Font service for some time myself to figure out which font has been used on different logos and pictures. Works pretty good, although not perfect all the time of course… so gotta do some digging around then :)

    Anyway, very nice useful list of fonts being used for all of these popular companies.
