Deftones’ use of Ribbon 131 is classic and a great example of matching a typeface with a sound. It manages to be ironic while also fitting perfectly.

What a stupid article. With the exception of a couple (Linkin Park, Weezer), you aren’t showing typefaces used for logos. You are showing typefaces created based on logos. Do you think there was a typeface called Misfits when that logo was designed?

Hmmm… a bit lazy isnt it? You can get any font from DaFont to match a logo. Check your fonts mister… ‘Rolling Stone’ is actually drawn from a font called Parkinson design by Jim Parkinson
