Thanks for pointing that out. We noticed that we had a couple dozen clicks coming in from that podcast link. I actually forgot to mention this, so I’m glad you brought it up. We were incredibly flattered that one of Leo Laporte’s shows gave us a shoutout. Glad to hear that you’re now a subscriber, we were wondering how many went to the site directly instead of following the referral.

You should probably attribute some of that record traffic to Leo Laporte. Not sure if you knew this but you were a featured link in the Aug. 19th net@night podcast. I always check out these posts, it’s interesting to see your progress, and like you mention, I can apply and compare it to my own blog. I find it especially interesting since my own blog is about the same age.

I actually did a post awhile back that mentioned a few of my stats, which were actually public to begin with, and I got this one nasty comment that all came down to “bragging” as well. It was definitely not in that context at all, of course, just like these posts aren’t.

I have no added suggestions for what you should add, I like them as is!

Well done guys, and to answer your question I personally love these posts. Running my own site, they’re a great inspiration to me and keep me dedicated to something I now know is possible, even in such a short time like 9 months!

I missed the amount your earning this month, too. That’s another thing that keeps me dedicated. Ignore those that tell you your bragging, I understand ;)
